My heart has been heavy as I face the reality of wars raging on the planet right now.
I’ve been feeling into the experience of all our brothers and sisters facing the hell of wars, some of which are not even being covered by the news. I have been feeling the pain of both our human and non-human families and of our mother Earth herself.
If we want to transform our world, we need to learn to live with one foot in the world not yet created, we need to be the bridge between the new and the old, and we need to transform the twisted patterns that cause conflicts among people and deny the right of all beings of the Earth, visible and invisible, to live in peace.
We need to sow new seeds!
I think about every courageous person who participated in The Holy Nights last year and chose love, peace, compassion, kindness, and forgiveness – and my heart fills with gratitude! Together we were sowing the seeds and placing our foot into the world we want to create!
It may seem so insignificant, so small to plant the seeds of our intentions each Holy Night in the face of so many global challenges!
But by striving to be the change we want to see on this planet, we are creating that vulnerable, brave, wonderful world we want to live in!
And any time we shift our focus to consciously sowing and watering the seeds that we want, we withdraw our energy from the seeds we don’t want, the seeds that perhaps have been unkind, harmful, or destructive to ourselves or others.
We are born with the seeds of all possibilities within us – the seeds of becoming a true light of love on this planet as well as the seeds of destruction and harm. It all comes down to what we water with our attention.
Am I saying that participating in The Holy Nights alone is going to solve the many problems we face?
No.
The inner work during The Holy Nights is but a drop in a pond, but who knows how far the ripples will reach?
Imagine thousands, tens of thousands, millions consciously choosing to sow the seeds of the wonderful world we know in our hearts is possible!
Imagine each person consciously choosing to water with their attention the life-affirming seeds of the courageous world of love, beauty, kindness, cooperation, and peace!
Imagine the ripples our actions will create!
MAYBE I CAME TO EARTH FROM ANOTHER PLACE, OR MAYBE I’M JUST A DREAMER, BUT I BELIEVE WE CAN CREATE A WONDERFUL WORLD TOGETHER!
Remember, a seed may seem small and humble, but a mighty oak tree grows from a tiny acorn!
Join me for The Holy Nights of the Soul: Sowing the Seeds of Change – the eleventh annual Winter Initiation of shamanic energy clearing and balancing, beautiful ceremonies, deep contemplation, and dreamwork.
